Appraisal Logistics Taps Elizabeth Green as Chief Strategy Officer

Elizabeth Green

Appraisal Logistics, Annapolis, Md., named Elizabeth Green as Chief Strategy Officer. She will maintain a 360-degree view of the company, direct product and services innovation that impact the company’s current lender clients, their borrowers, valuation professionals and the industry.

Green has more than 30 years of industry experience. Previously, she served as Chief Data & Product Solutions Officer for LoanLogics. Before that, she was President of Centric Technologies, a hosted-technology solution for DIY appraisal quality review for residential real estate appraisal. Earlier in her career she was the Director of Strategic Technology Solutions for Supreme Lending, Director of Valuation Technologies for ACI (now First American), Vice-President of New Product Development for Solidifi and Vice-President of Valuation Services & Product Development for Basis100.

Green is a recipient of an ECCMA Fellowship Award, a MISMO Staff Appreciation Award and was a Mortgage Banking Magazine Tech All-Star.

Sean McGowan

BSI Financial Hires Sean McGowan, Shannon Clay

BSI Financial Services, Irving, Texas, hired Sean McGowan as chief people officer and Shannon Clay as senior vice president of investor reporting.

With more than 20 years of experience, McGowan will be responsible for developing and executing a human resource strategy in support of BSI’s overall business plan and strategic direction, specifically in the areas of talent management, organizational and performance management, training and development and compensation. He previously held leadership positions at Accenture, Bank of America, and Mr. Cooper. Most recently, he led Appspace, a global software company providing a workplace experience platform.

Shannon Clay

Clay will manage the company’s investor reporting team and reconciliations and treasury cash management as well as drive overall secondary market accounting process improvement and profitability initiatives. She brings more than 20 years of experience in mortgage investment and portfolio management. Most recently, she served as senior vice president of investor services for Mr. Cooper (formerly Nationstar), where she led significant cost and quality management initiatives. She previously held positions with Saxon Mortgage, where she led improvements in securities reporting, and at Countrywide Home Loans and Saxon, where she improved accuracy and efficiency of distressed asset fulfilment.

Vision Mortgage Group Joins Panorama Mortgage Group, Names Mark Charlton as President

Panorama Mortgage Group, Las Vegas, announced Vision Mortgage Group has joined the PMG family and Mark Charlton will lead the company as president. Vision Mortgage Group is focusing on expanding homeownership opportunities across the country and will leverage PMG’s mortgage platform to accomplish that goal.

Charlton, who has more than 10 years of mortgage industry experience, will lead the company in its commitment to engage with communities, including through partnerships with nonprofit organizations, first responders, the military and local school districts. He founded Vision Mortgage Group in 2021 to put his purpose to work and provide home financing opportunities for those who lack them.

Cherry Creek Mortgage Hires Rick Hogle as Chief Revenue Officer

Cherry Creek Mortgage, Denver, hired Rick Hogle as chief revenue officer, where he will manage overall performance of Cherry Creek’s retail operations. He will oversee growth and development of retail sales and production network while supporting the company’s business channels.

Hogle began his mortgage career in 2001 with New Century Mortgage, where he became one of the firm’s top originators in his first year and later a successful branch manager. He also served as a branch manager, national sales manager, director of operations, chief operating officer and chief strategic officer for Supreme Lending.

JLL Promotes Stuart Miller to Lead Data Center Team

JLL Valuation Advisory, Chicago, promoted Senior Vice President Stuart Miller to lead a new, dedicated data center practice responsible for valuations for secured lending advisory, portfolio valuation, financial reporting and purchase price allocations.

Miller has more than five years of experience in valuation and consulting on data centers, with assignments for multiple Fortune 100 technology companies, investors, national banks, lenders and owner-operators.

Siri Gunn

OptiFunder Hires Siri Gunn, Chris Leibl as VPs

OptiFunder, St. Louis, named Siri Gunn as Vice President of Sales, responsible for National sales and educating prospects and clients about Optifunder’s Warehouse Management System. 

Gunn’s career has focused on mortgage technology and operations, most recently working at AltiSource for more than a decade; she served as Director of Mortgage and Real Estate Solution Sales and a Senior Manager for the firm. Prior to that, she was Vice President of Account Management for Timios and served as a manager at Lenders First Choice.

Chris Leibl

OptiFunder also hired Chris Leibl as Vice President of IT, Information Security & Compliance, responsible for cyber security compliance, strategy and implementation. 

Most recently, Leibl helped lead a cloud security consultancy and worked with customers to establish cloud-native security and compliance programs founded upon automation and software development methodologies. He is a Google Cloud Certified Fellow and specializes in cloud security, architecture and engineering.

Stewart Taps Scott Fallar as Fla. Senior Underwriting Counsel

Stewart Title, Houston, hired Scott Fallar as Senior Underwriting Counsel. He will provide Stewart partners and Florida agents within the Stewart Trusted Provider Network with underwriting support and solutions for their local transactions.

Fallar was in private practice in Jacksonville, Fla., for more than 20 years and formerly an agent for Stewart Title. In addition to his transactional and closing work, He represented many developers, builders, lenders, families and real estate investors with acquisitions, construction loans, sale outs, spreader mortgages, platting, zoning, easements, probate and bankruptcy. He also worked at another company for 10 years as its Regional Underwriter assisting and resolving agents’ title issues tied to real property through forfeiture, foreclosure, bankruptcy, probate, tax sales and C&Rs easements.
